Gemma is the owner of Komorebi K9 and has more than fourteen years of professional experience. Alongside her role as a dog trainer, she has gained experience in kennels, animal rescue centers, and grooming facilities. Gemma moved onto studying dog’s behaviour, how dogs learn and why we need to train them. Through shadowing many different dog trainers’ techniques and methods, gemma has complete accredited advanced certificate in canine reactive behaviour, studied level 5 canine behaviour practitioner, gemma has developed her own style, which works well and is easy to follow by dog owners. These experiences have equipped her with a deep insight into the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours of animals. She now applies this knowledge to assist foreign rescue dogs in adapting to their new surroundings. Gemma has also opened her home to three rescue dogs from North Macedonia. We provide expert support to help you and your new dog build a strong bond and create a safe, loving home together. All training methods used are based on positive reinforcement and reward based.
